Very tasty breakfast and nice service. Keep it up ?

I'll start with the positive, the ladies there are really very friendly. There is a casual, family atmosphere. Now the negative, the food is takeaway level at best. More like that. Unfortunately. So I didn't like it. At home I can cook healthier and more delicious.

As always, delicious, pleasant atmosphere, good value for money.

I get varied food at reasonable prices and a daily changing lunch menu item the food is quickly prepared and the food is ready due to the high demand there are occasional space problems. Nice and quick service highly recommended.

We have been to the Cooking Inn several times in the past. We had already used the catering. So far, we have always been satisfied. But now we were there on a friday tapas evening. With the reservation everything worked smoothly. On the spot we were recommended, it was advisable for the 20 people just order the tapas plates. There was too little space on the tables for so many individual bowls. So said done. The tapas plates were fine, nothing special, not the highest quality ingredients, not exceptionally flavored, but for a (assumed) price of 15,50 € it was ok. The plate was intended for four people. So she contained exactly 4 small dates in bacon, 4 mini pieces of tortilla and also the (presumably frozen) prawns and meatballs were sparsely stocked. Since we ordered two more tapas plates and ordered 4 large salads and 6 large bowls of fries, everyone was full. When, a few days later, the bill arrived at our factory, we were amazed. The tapas plate costs per person 15.50 € and thus 62 €, s. Image. A plate could also only order from / for 4 people. Ie. the two reordered plates also cost € 62 each (!!!). The prices were on the menu, but none of the present person had the "per person" perceived, since the ingredients on the tapas plate just not a bit the value corresponded. Everybody thought it was an absurd idea that the whole record should cost € 62. We had tried to contact the owner, since we are regular guests for several years in the Cooking Inn. We got a discount of about 85 €, which of course given the price for this low-stocked as well as not high-quality record, rather a drop in the ocean. Too bad, you can really call that something just "rip-off". Unfortunately, you can not give 0 stars, otherwise we would do that. We will not be back!

I was here more often with colleagues for lunch. The food is ok, the service is average, the prices are especially in view of the situation in my opinion a bit inappropriate or too expensive. Unfortunately, it is typical today for the German gastronomy elite, that the service is not one hundred percent interpreted to the satisfaction of the guest. The Cooking Inn is just one example of many. The stubborn, inflexible processing of the running catering business has the highest priority. Quite acceptable "extra wishes" regarding the addition of side dishes, etc. are only acknowledged with detuned reactions, but without responding to customer requests. An incident (hopefully an isolated case) with broken glass in the food of a colleague (however they have come in unnoticed) will unfortunately cloud the overall impression. If service mentality and value for money were better, I would award more stars. However, the three stars are already an expression of goodwill.

Always tasty, always fresh. Friendly staff. Also good to sit outside in summer. And also to be booked as an event location for birthdays or weddings.

Breakfast from 7:00 in all desired variations! Good plain cuisine at affordable prices! Fresh preparation every day! Meat products from the premier bad luck butcher! Very friendly service!

The Cooking Inn should be a term for everyone in the Wachtberg / Villip area looking for a way to have a lunch break. For 8 - 9 € there is one of two daily changing lunch menus. The menus are usually composed of a main course, a small dessert and a small bowl of salad. In addition, there is the possibility to order the classic snacks. So there is everything from schnitzel, currywurst to gyros with fries in a snack. The operation works in the store by issued numbers, so that even with a lot of visitors long waiting times are rather rare.
